Our approach
MolaQuest uses three main kinds of imagery: photographs taken or supplied by MolaQuest, third-party photographs used under an appropriate licence, and original AI-assisted visuals commissioned by and owned by MolaQuest.
Captions describe what an image shows. They do not repeat production details on every page; this policy provides the site-wide disclosure. Licensed photographs retain a visible photographer, source and licence credit wherever the licence requires it.
Illustrative visuals
Some destination, diving, equipment and news visuals are AI-assisted original creations made for MolaQuest. They are inspired by the dives, destinations or subjects discussed, but are not documentary photographs of a particular dive, person, boat, resort, wildlife encounter or news event.
These images support the editorial design alongside the personal archive and must not be treated as evidence of a specific encounter.
Ownership and permissions
MolaQuest only publishes images it created or commissioned, received permission to use, or can use under a suitable licence. Third-party ownership remains with the relevant creator, and MolaQuest does not claim ownership of credited third-party photography.
